Lillie was our first champion and our first group placer, earning a Group 2, owner-handled, way back when. We had great hopes for her as a brood bitch, but in the end she only ever produced one puppy. On the other hand, when that one puppy becomes a Group Winner, a Best-in-Field lure courser, and a National Race Meet winner, what more could you ask!
We are especially pleased that even now, past her eleventh birthday, she is active, sound and alert, climbing stairs and jumping on beds with the best of them.
Lillie, like many dogs at the 2006 National Specialty, came down with some sort of an intestinal virus. At her age, and always on the lean side, she was unable to shake it off.
